InSparq (insparq.app) is an AI-powered vacation planning tool operated by TFT Ventures LLC (NJ) dba InSparq. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. By using InSparq, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Email address (when you create an account)
Conversation messages and trip planning preferences you share with the AI
Feedback ratings (thumbs up/down) on AI responses

Information collected automatically:

IP address (for rate limiting and bot prevention — not stored long-term)
Browser type and device information (via analytics tools)
Pages visited, clicks, and feature usage (behavioral signals)
Anonymized usage patterns — aggregate data about how people use InSparq (such as what types of questions are asked) to help us improve the product. Personal details are removed before any data is stored.
Error and crash data (via our error monitoring service)

3. Third-Party Service Providers

InSparq uses the following categories of third-party services to operate. Each processes data under their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

A third-party AI provider— Provides the AI that powers InSparq. Your conversation messages are sent to this provider for processing. The provider does not use customer API data to train models. Conversation data is deleted within 7 days per the provider's standard practices.

Our authentication provider — Handles authentication. Stores your email address and manages your account session. No passwords stored.

Our hosting and database infrastructure providers — Host the application and store your saved trip plans and feedback ratings. Data is stored in the United States.

Our error monitoring service — Receives error and crash reports to help us diagnose technical issues. Reports may include IP addresses and browser information but do not include message content.

Our product analytics provider — Collects anonymized behavioral analytics (clicks, feature usage, page views). We never send message content, email addresses, trip plan text, or other personal data to this provider. IP addresses are anonymized. We have executed a Data Processing Agreement with this provider.

Our bot prevention service — Provides bot prevention for unauthenticated users. Processes a brief challenge token to distinguish humans from automated traffic. No personal data is retained.

Our email service provider — If you opt in to receive planning reminders or tips, stores your email address for that purpose. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the InSparq trip planning service
To save and reload your trip plans across sessions (registered users)
To authenticate your account and prevent unauthorized access
To prevent abuse, spam, and automated misuse of the service
To understand how users interact with the product (anonymized analytics)
To diagnose and fix technical errors
To send service-related communications (account, security, major changes)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your conversation content to train AI models. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.

5. AI Data Processing

InSparq uses a third-party AI provider to generate trip planning recommendations. Your messages are transmitted to this provider for processing. The provider does not use API data to train models, and conversation data is deleted within 7 days.

InSparq also extracts structured trip preferences (such as travel dates, party size, and interests) from your conversations to improve recommendations in future sessions. This structured data is stored in our database and used only to personalize your experience. You can request deletion of this data at any time.

6. Cookies and Analytics

InSparq uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

Authentication cookies — Set by our authentication provider to maintain your login session. Required for the service to function.
Bot prevention — Our bot prevention service sets a short-lived token to verify you are human. No tracking involved.
Analytics — Our analytics providers use cookies to track anonymized usage patterns. No personal data or message content is collected. You can decline non-essential analytics cookies via the consent banner.

7. Data Retention

Conversation messages: Sent to our AI provider for processing; deleted by that provider within 7 days. Anonymized usage data is retained to help us understand how to improve InSparq. You may request deletion.

Saved trip plans: Retained until you delete your account or request deletion.

Trip preferences (structured profile): Retained until you delete your account or request deletion.

Feedback ratings: Retained indefinitely in anonymized form for product improvement.

Account data (email): Retained by our authentication provider until account deletion.

Error logs: Retained by our error monitoring service for 90 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent for non-essential analytics cookies at any time
Object to certain processing of your data

9. Children's Privacy

InSparq is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older and is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of InSparq after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
